We went for less bouncy and more steady, with Sufjan-esque guitars (courtesy of Brandon Bae) and vocal harmonies suggesting shower falls that precede a Spring bloom. When we first wrote the song, we wanted to illustrate that hope doesn't always make a grand appearance but can be found in, and often in the accumulation of, sometimes mundane or intimate moments.
