The Leather Moto Jacket

My wardrobe would not be complete without my leather moto jacket. It is my go-to piece, specifically when I want my outfit to be a little more edgy. What I specifically love about my moto jacket is that it is oversized. Most leather jackets nowadays are quite tight fitting or cropped, and that style just isn’t for me. I love layering and I am definitely able to do that with this specific jacket. Another great thing about this leather jacket is that it is 100% vegan leather, making it both animal-friendly and affordable.

In these photos, I styled my jacket with a simple black turtleneck from Joe Fresh. I absolutely love wearing it with basic tees and tops, layered with a longer sweater or cardigan, as the jacket is already a statement piece on it’s own. It also looks great with distressed/ripped denim, as well as fitted sweats. For shoes, I normally opt for sneakers, but it also looks great with a pair of booties or heels (for dressier days).

I believe that the leather jacket has definitely become a classic, staple piece. It is just so easy to wear, but also very versatile, as it can be dressed up or down. Unfortunately, this specific jacket is currently sold out on Oak + Fort’s http://www.oakandfort.com website, but here are some other similar styles:
