Mouthful of Forevers: Valentine's Playlist
i. You are a million poems embodied and a thousand proses in human form. My lips haven't stopped saying your name since the last time you kissed it. It’s only been three days since I last saw you, but I could already go on this forever. Until now, I can still smell your musky scent which you may or may not have purposely etched into my skin. You told me once I deserve the world, but right now it’s safe to say that you are my world. Do you think I deserve you?

ii. Our initial meeting felt like listening to the first track of The Dark Side of the Moon for the first time and immediately declaring it the best album I’ve ever heard. You had a big smile on your face and carried me around. It was magical as if we were waiting for that moment our whole life. Or perhaps we had already met in our past life. We had an instant connection and I know you felt it too. I never believed in love at first sight until that moment. We danced to Sparks by Coldplay because that’s what we felt. And like a new favourite song, I keep replaying you in my head.
---
iii. My first impression of you was that you were art. And art is all about perspective. I don’t think anyone in this world sees you the way I first saw you. You had complexities. You were mad. You were beautiful. You were flawed and flawless, both at the same time. You taught me that there is beauty in this world and I saw it in you.

iv. You knew how much I loved writing in lists, the reason why I love your freckles. They look like bullets indicating the right places where I should kiss you. But sometimes they looked like constellations. And my mind likes to fool itself that you don't seem very far away.
---
v. You wrap me up like black coffee and a Pablo Neruda anthology on a Saturday morning. Knowing you made me finally pick my pen up again for now I know the right words to say. Only God knows what the future holds, but I'm still writing this anyway. We have a road of uncertainties to take. It may be short, may be long, but let me take it with you. While we wonder what our future holds, let me leave you with this letter.
