Theatre #DramaKidForever
I wouldn't be the person I am today without theatre.
Growing up, my parents made me take piano, voice, and dance lessons. I also took drama classes throughout high school, and it has definitely helped me become more confident.
Performing gives me the chance to connect to a character and music. I'm still a pretty reserved person, but I go all out when it comes to being on stage.
Back in elementary school, I auditioned for a Christmas musical and got casted as one of the angels for the opening scene. I was really upset that I didn't get the lead role, but that didn't stop me from joining other plays. In high school, I was in two productions and I actually got the lead role during my senior year.
With that said, music and theatre will always be a big part of me. Unfortunately, I don't really have friends who are into musicals or plays in general so I made a playlist that I can always listen to whenever I feel like singing my heart out and busting a move.
#DramaKidForever
In this playlist, I feature different types of musicals. I have a wide range of taste and it really shows in this playlist. From Shrek to Hairspray, Legally Blonde to Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables to Mamma Mia — you really can't go wrong with this.
