Interfaith

In a world in which we have the freedom to date regardless of race, religion and culture, interfaith/ intercultural love is an inevitable and increasingly common reality.

But when two people from different cultural or religious backgrounds come together in the name of love, there isn’t much of a shared roadmap of how such a relationship might work.

Challenges may arise as couples navigate customs and norms, engaging in conversations around the negotiable and non-negotiable aspects of each of their identities - all while  preserving the intimate bond that brought them together.

This project aims to share those voices -  each with their own unique set of experiences, to release stories that are often left untold.

The couples represent an opportunity to reflect on the role culture and religion plays within real lives and relationships, and within the ever-evolving British identity.
